i concur

Justice Heydenfelt of the California Supreme Court addressing the Defendant's negligence in failing to cover a hole in the sidewalk into which an intoxicated man fell and became injured in 1855:
A drunken man is as much entitled to a safe street as a sober one, and much more in need of it.

Robinson v. Pioche, Bayerque & Co., 5 Cal. 460 (1855).

By that standard, I should have the right to urinate in my neighbors bushes! Makes sense to me...

while i agree with you that the the courts should adopt a "the world is your toilet" standard, most courts would say that your pissing in the neighbors bushes constitutes a trespass to land, a trespass to chattel (i.e., the bushes are property), and conversion - i.e., you would have to pay your neighbor for the value of the bushes because he would no longer want them after you pissed all over them. On the bright side: you'd get to keep the bushes.
